What is the difference between structural adhesive and weather-resistant adhesive?

Firstly, the differences in usage: SY9900 structural sealant focuses on force-bearing bonding and is often used in glass curtain walls, sunrooms, and large panel splicing, capable of withstanding loads and serving as a connection and fixation function; SY-9800 weather-resistant sealant mainly serves for filling and sealing, commonly used in doors and windows, exterior wall joints, and light roof gaps, resisting deformation caused by wind and temperature differences.

Secondly, there are differences in performance: SY-9900 structural sealant has high bonding strength and strong cohesion, with outstanding load-bearing capacity; SY-9800 weather-resistant sealant has better flexibility and larger expansion rate, excellent resistance to ultraviolet rays and aging, and is suitable for long-term outdoor use.

Finally, the usage distinction: For force-bearing and load-bearing parts, use structural sealant; for simple waterproofing, filling, and anti-climate aging, choose weather-resistant sealant. Each has its own role, and choosing the right one can ensure long-term durability.
