What is acrylic sealant?

    With acrylic resin as the base material, it is a single-component, easy-to-work-with product, with strong adhesion and quick curing. It has no obvious odor and combines sealing and bonding functions. It has a high cost-performance ratio and is commonly used as a universal sealant for home decoration and small-scale projects.

    It is suitable for various daily scenarios and can be used for sealing of door and window gaps, wall corners, tile joints, and also for sealing of dry areas in kitchens and bathrooms. It is not suitable for long-term immersion or strong ultraviolet radiation environments.

    Acrylic sealant is more affordable, cures quickly, and has good adhesion; however, its weather resistance and waterproofing are slightly weaker. It is not suitable for long-term outdoor use and is more suitable for indoor normal temperature and dry environments for sealing.

    During construction, the base material needs to be clean without oil stains or moisture. Avoid getting wet immediately after construction. The surface dries in about 1-2 hours, and complete curing takes 24 hours. After curing, it can be used normally. Avoid being in a humid environment for a long time.

    High-quality products have uniform gel and no particles. After curing, it has certain elasticity, does not become brittle, does not peel off, has no pungent odor, and is not prone to cracking after bonding, and is compatible with various base materials.
