Product Positioning: Acidic Sealant Specifically Designed for Large-Scale Aquatic Projects, Ultra-White Large-Panel Aquariums, and Floor-to-Ceiling Water Features
I. Product Formulation & Environmental Compliance
Single-component acetic acid-cured high-purity silicone base, free from mold inhibitors and harmful heavy metals (lead/cadmium compliant with aquarium standard T/FSI015). Completely devoid of toxic additives that harm nitrifying bacteria or aquatic life. After full curing, the sealant becomes chemically inert and stable—no leaching of harmful substances even under long-term immersion. Safe for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums.
II. Core Physical & Chemical Properties
High-strength bonding with excellent water pressure resistance: tensile bond strength ≥ 0.6 MPa, high modulus and tear resistance, ideal for large-panel tanks over 1 meter deep, effectively resisting continuous hydrostatic pressure to prevent long-term delamination or leakage. Direct bonding on ultra-white glass panels without primer required.
Fast-drying for efficient application: surface dry time ≤ 60 minutes, rapid shallow-layer curing minimizes sagging and edge collapse; vertical bead sag <3 mm, enabling faster production in factory settings. Full-depth curing takes 7 days; for large aquariums, recommend a 7–15 day water test period after installation.
High elasticity and weather resistance: excellent flexibility and resilience after curing, accommodating thermal expansion and contraction of glass; maintains integrity at temperature ranges from -40°C to 150°C without cracking or peeling. Resistant to UV radiation and long-term water immersion without hydrolysis or powdering—suitable for outdoor landscape aquariums.
Universal compatibility with glass: optimized for ultra-white glass and float glass panels, delivering clean, seamless transparent joints. Not suitable for coated glass, marble, galvanized iron, or mirror-finished aluminum (acidic nature may corrode coating substrates).
III. Application Scenarios
✅ Commercial large-scale aquariums, ecological landscape tanks, custom floor-to-ceiling giant fish tanks
✅ Bonding ultra-white large-panel glass, glass display cases, skylight flat glass
✅ Repairing finished aquariums, sealing leaks, waterproofing temporary seafood holding tanks

GP-808 Application Guidelines
Surface Preparation: Glass surfaces must be clean, dry, dust-free, and free of oil or water stains. Do not apply sealant on damp surfaces.
Sealing Technique: Cut the nozzle at an angle wider than the joint width. Apply a full, consistent bead filling the gap completely. Use painter’s tape to shape the bead and eliminate air bubbles.
Curing & Water Test: Small aquariums: allow 3–5 days before filling with water. For large-panel tanks over 1 meter deep: cure fully for 7–15 days before filling.
Incompatible Materials: GP-808 must not be used on coated glass, mirrored surfaces, stone, galvanized metal, or plastic profiles.
